SuperHero.io drops you into an open field with no safe wall to put your back against. Enemies come from every direction at once, and because your hero always moves toward the pointer, defending and attacking are the same action - the line you steer along is also the line you fight along. Standing still is the one thing that never works.

Your arsenal changes as you go, built from whatever you pick up out on the field. Not everything lying around is a gift, though; some of it works against you, so a pickup sitting in an open lane is a decision rather than a reward. The speed burst is the escape hatch, best saved for the moment two groups start closing at once.

How to play

Move the pointer and your hero follows it, so steering is how you both chase enemies and slip out of their reach. Enemies attack from all sides, so keep circling instead of holding one spot, and swing wide when a group forms up. Collect the items scattered across the field to build up your arsenal, but watch what each one does, since some of them hurt you rather than help. Use the speed burst to break away when you are surrounded.

Controls

Move the mouse to steer the hero, who travels in the direction of the pointer. Press the space bar for a burst of speed to escape a crowd or close a gap quickly.
