World Cup Penalty Shootout strips soccer down to the one moment that decides matches: you against the goalkeeper, ball on the spot. Pick a national side, aim your shot, and add curve or power before the keeper dives the wrong way.

Four modes keep the format from getting stale. Targets has you picking off marked corners of the net, Time Attack pushes you through as many shots as the clock allows, Wall throws defenders in front of you, and Shootout recreates the pressure of sudden-death penalties. Power-ups add curve around a keeper or a multiplier that turns a good round into a great one.

The skill is reading the keeper's stance before you commit to a corner, not smashing the ball as hard as possible.

How to play

Choose a national team, then step up to the penalty spot. Aim your shot at an open corner of the goal and set its power and curve before you strike. Watch which way the keeper leans and time your shot to beat him rather than firing at full power every time. Switch between Targets, Time Attack, Wall, and Shootout modes from the menu, and spend earned power-ups on extra curve or a score multiplier when a round gets tight.

Mouse or tap to aim your shot and set its curve, then click or tap again to strike the ball toward your chosen corner.
