Basketball Legends

Basketball Legends is a two-on-two court game that cares more about the scrap than the rulebook. There are no fouls to worry about, so slapping the ball out of an opponent's hands is a legitimate tactic rather than a penalty, and most possessions end in either a long three or a dunk that takes the whole basket with it.

The bar at the top of the screen is the thing to watch. It fills as you play, and once it is full you can launch a special dunk from anywhere on the court, including the far end, and it always goes in. Deciding when to spend it, rather than firing it off the moment it lights up, is what separates a close match from a comfortable one.

How to play

Choose a team and then decide between the tournament, which runs you through a bracket against the CPU, or a quick match. Points come from inside shots, three pointers and dunks, and there is nothing stopping you from slapping an opponent to knock the ball loose. Keep an eye on the super shot bar at the top; when it fills, a special dunk will drop from any spot on the court.

Controls

Player 1 moves and jumps with W, A, S and D, and uses X, Z and V to slap, throw and dunk. Player 2 moves and jumps with the arrow keys, and uses K and L to slap, throw and dunk.
