Oddbods Jigsaw Puzzle

Oddbods Jigsaw Puzzle is the rare jigsaw where sorting by colour is genuinely the fastest route. The characters are simple rounded shapes in one strong colour each, so a red piece belongs to Fuse and a yellow one belongs to Bubbles, and that alone narrows a piece down to one character before you have even looked at its edges.

The catch is what is left. Once the characters are assembled you are holding a stack of background pieces that all look the same, and those come down to shape matching and patience. Build the bodies first while it is easy, then let the gaps in the finished figures tell you which background piece has to sit beside them.

How to play

Choose a picture and a cut before the pieces scatter, then drag them one at a time into the frame. Sorting helps more here than anywhere: pull all the pieces of one colour together and build that character on its own, then move to the next. Leave the plain background pieces until the figures are done, because the holes they leave behind tell you where each one goes. Edges and corners are still the safest opening.

Controls

Pick a piece up by holding the mouse button, move it to the spot you want and release. On a touchscreen the same drag works with one finger. Nothing else is needed to play.
