Slice It

Slice It is an arcade game built entirely around one action, which it gets right. Objects appear and you cut them, but the scoring cares about where the cut lands rather than whether it happened - a clean line through the middle scores far better than a rushed swipe that clips a corner. Levels change the layout rather than the speed, so a difficult one is difficult because the angle is awkward, not because you have less time. That makes it a thinking game disguised as a reflex game, and the highest scores go to players who wait a beat longer before committing.

How to play

Swipe to cut each object, aiming for a clean line rather than a fast one. The score depends on where the cut lands, so waiting an extra moment for a better angle almost always beats swiping immediately. When a level offers several objects, look for the single line that passes through more than one of them.
