Rainbow Monster Impostor Catcher

Rainbow Monster Impostor Catcher puts you in control of Rainbow Blue, and the little impostor characters scattered around the map are not going to stand still for you. They wander, they duck behind things, and they are small enough to lose sight of entirely if you charge across the level without looking.

The timer is the second opponent. Every one you fail to corner before the clock empties stays uncaught, so the levels are really a routing problem: sweep the map in an order that does not send you back over ground you have already cleared. Cornering one against a wall works far better than chasing it across open floor, where it simply keeps running.

How to play

Walk Rainbow Blue through the level and look for the impostors moving around it, keeping the whole area in view instead of fixing on one target. Get close and attack to catch one; from a distance it will just slip away. The clock is running the whole time, so plan a route that takes you past several of them rather than doubling back, and use walls and corners to cut off their escape.

Controls

On a computer, move with the WASD keys, press Spacebar to attack, and use the mouse to select items. On a touchscreen, the on-screen buttons handle both moving around the map and attacking.
