Tank Wars Classic

Tank Wars Classic borrows the shape of the old brick-pattern tank games and keeps the parts that made them tense. Enemy tanks enter from the top of the screen level after level, and your job is to clear them before they reach your base, which sits open and undefended unless you position yourself to cover it. Levels change the terrain rather than just adding more enemies, so a layout that gave you clean sightlines one round might box you into a corner the next. Random items drop when you land a hit, and grabbing one mid-fight is often the difference between holding a level and losing your last life.

How to play

Steer your tank around each level and destroy enemy tanks before they reach your base at the bottom of the screen. Watch the top of the screen, since that is where new enemies enter. Pick up items that drop when you destroy enemies for a temporary edge, and keep at least one life in reserve rather than trading it for a risky shot.

Move your tank and fire at enemies using the keyboard on desktop or the on-screen controls on mobile.
