Tank Mazes

Tank Mazes hands you a base and the news that the enemy counter offensive is already moving. Everyone else has been pulled to other fronts, so the walls of the maze and whatever you can do with them are the defence. Enemies funnel through corridors, and where you park your tank decides how many of them you have to face at once.

The support technologies are what lift it above shooting down a hallway. Point bombing clears a spot you cannot reach in time, an energy shield buys you a few seconds of standing still, and time stop freezes the advance while you reposition. There are several tank modifications to choose between, and a second player can sit down at the same keyboard and hold the other approach.

How to play

Hold the base: enemies come in waves along the maze corridors, and anything that gets past you reaches it. Pick a tank modification before you commit, then use the corridors as cover rather than driving into the open. Save point bombing for a breach you cannot drive to, the shield for a moment you must stand still, and the time stop for when two routes open at once. A second player can join and cover the approach you are not watching.

Controls

Player one drives on W, A, S and D and fires with the spacebar. Player two drives on the arrow keys and fires with the Num 0 key. On a touchscreen the same two sets appear as buttons on the display, green for the first player and blue for the second.
