Tower Defense : Super Heroes

Tower Defense: Super Heroes flips the usual script and puts you in charge of the villains, holding a line while superheroes march down a fixed path toward your health points. Each hero that reaches the end costs you, so where you plant your villains matters as much as which ones you pick. Every villain in your small roster hits differently, and the waves get faster and the heroes get tougher the longer you hold out, so a layout that worked early stops being enough by round ten. There is no story to sit through between waves, just the next line of heroes coming down the path and a few seconds to rearrange before they arrive. Losing one position forces you to lean harder on whatever is still standing.

How to play

Place villains from your roster along the path superheroes will walk down, spending resources you earn between waves to add more or reposition the ones you have. Each hero that slips past your line drains your health points, so cover gaps before the next wave starts. Survive as many escalating waves as you can, since both the number of heroes and their strength increase the longer the match runs.

Controls

Played with the mouse or by tap on touchscreens: select a villain and place it on the field, then tap again to reposition or upgrade.
