Wild Island Quest

Wild Island Quest starts you with nothing but trees to chop and rocks to mine, and the whole game is the chain that grows out of that: raw wood and stone unlock tools, tools unlock better resources, and those resources fund the missions that actually move the story forward. Crafting something as ordinary as berry jam turns out to matter, since finished goods are what missions and coins are built on, not the raw materials themselves.

Cutting free a trapped companion is worth prioritizing early, since each one takes over part of the gathering grind for you, which matters more the moment you unlock a new island and have to start building up resources all over again. Progress compounds - a slow first island makes every later one faster.

How to play

Chop trees for wood and mine rocks for stone, then use those resources to craft tools and complete missions. Cut plants near trapped companions to free them, since each one helps with gathering afterward. Spend the coins missions pay out on gear upgrades, and once you are equipped for it, travel to a new island and start the loop again.
