Short Path Race

Short Path Race looks like a straight sprint until the track runs out from under you. Tiles are scattered along the way, and each one you grab becomes a piece of bridge you can drop over a gap that would otherwise end the run. Tiles are limited, so grabbing one is only half the decision; the other half is whether you will still have one left when a wider gap shows up later.

That tension is the whole game. Drop tiles the moment you see water and you will likely reach the final platforms with nothing left to cross them. Hold back too much and a gap you cannot clear stops you cold before the finish. The fastest runs come from players who count what they carry, not just how fast they move.

How to play

Run forward automatically along the track, steering to grab tiles scattered across your path. When you reach a gap, drop a tile to bridge it and keep moving. Do not spend every tile as soon as you collect it, since the gaps near the finish tend to be wider than the ones early on. Reaching the far platforms with tiles still in hand is what separates a clean run from a stranded one. Cross the finish line before your rivals to win the race.

Controls

A or the Left Arrow and D or the Right Arrow to steer between tiles, Space or tap to drop a collected tile over a gap. On mobile, swipe left and right to steer and tap to place a tile.
