CarMiss

CarMiss keeps the camera tight on one car and fills the space around it with rockets. They come in from all sides, and shooting them down is not really the point, since the fastest way to be rid of one is to let it chase you into the path of another and watch the two cancel each other out.

Gold drops while you run, and where you spend it changes how a session feels. A faster car buys you room to swing wide, thicker plating buys forgiveness for the hit you will eventually take, and the anti-rocket gun answers the ones no amount of steering will shake. None of that saves you from crowding yourself into a corner, which is how most runs actually end.

How to play

Drive with WASD or the arrow keys and keep moving; a car sitting still is a target with a queue forming around it. Rockets track you, so line one up with another and pull away at the last moment to let them collide. Gold picked up along the way goes on a quicker car, heavier shielding or the anti-rocket gun, and it is worth deciding early which of the three suits how you drive.

Controls

WASD or the arrow keys steer the car on a computer - up and down for forward and back, left and right to cut across the screen. On a phone or tablet you touch the screen instead, moving the car with your finger while the rockets close in.
