Drive and Crash

Drive and Crash is a derby, which means finishing first is not the goal - being the only one still moving is. Points come from damage dealt, so the entire skill set of normal racing works against you here. A clean line around the outside of the arena keeps you alive and scores nothing.

The arenas change the maths. A parking lot is tight and full of angles where a rival cannot escape sideways; a football pitch is wide open and turns every attack into a long run-up; a gorge gives you walls to pin cars against. Hitting an opponent side-on does far more than a nose-to-nose collision, which is why the good players circle and wait rather than charge.

How to play

Choose a car and an arena, then ram the other drivers until they stop moving. Aim for the sides of rival cars - a side impact does much more damage than a head-on hit, and it leaves you facing away from the wreck instead of tangled in it. Use the arena walls to pin opponents. Reversing is not retreating; backing off to build speed before an attack is usually worth the ground you give up.
