Celebrity Fashion Battle is a dress up game with an argument built into it. Each girl on screen is trying to out dress the others, and the wardrobe you are working from is the Spring Summer 2022 collection: loud colours, clashing shades, and combinations that only work if you commit to them.

Playing it safe is the one way to lose here. A quiet outfit in this wardrobe reads as an outfit that gave up, because the pieces were drawn to argue with each other. Dresses, suits, skirts, trousers, tops, shorts and shoes all sit on the same rail, and the interesting part is not finding a nice dress but deciding which shoe turns a good look into a decision.

How to play

Pick a girl to style, then work through the rails: dresses, suits, skirts, trousers, tops, shorts and shoes, plus the accessories that finish a look. Click a garment to put it on her and click another to swap it out, as often as you like. Build around one strong colour rather than trying to balance three, and leave the accessories until the outfit is settled, since they read as an afterthought when they are chosen first.

Controls

The left mouse button does everything. Click a category to open its rail, click a garment to dress her in it, and click a different one to replace it, with nothing to drag and no confirm step. On a touchscreen a tap stands in for the click.
