CupHead Mugman is a mobile take on the run-and-gun platformer built around a simple deal gone wrong: two brothers bet their souls to the Devil, lost, and now fight through a string of strange worlds to earn them back. The art leans hard into the rubber-hose cartoon look of the earliest animated shorts, and the game plays like it too - fast, a little chaotic, and unforgiving if you stand still.

Every stage throws a fresh boss or a gauntlet of enemies at you, and dodging matters as much as shooting. A second player can jump in as Mugman, so one of you can clear a path while the other finishes off whatever is left. Losing costs nothing but a restart, so the real skill is learning each fights pattern.

How to play

Run, jump and shoot your way through each cartoon world, taking down the enemies and bosses standing between you and the next stage. Watch enemy patterns before you commit to an attack - most damage comes from standing in the wrong spot rather than shooting too slowly. A second player can join as Mugman, so use one of you to draw fire while the other lines up a clear shot.

Controls

On-screen buttons handle movement, jumping and shooting, with a second set of buttons for Mugman when a friend joins in on the same device. No key bindings are listed for this port, so play is entirely through the touch controls.
