Cooking Lunch At School

The setup is a cooking class rather than a restaurant, and that keeps the pace friendly. There is no queue of customers tapping the counter and no rush order to fill; you pick a dish and the kitchen walks you through it, from the raw ingredients to the plate that goes out to your classmates.

Three dishes carry the game, and they ask for different work. The burger is assembly - the right things in the right order. The salad is prep, washing and cutting before anything reaches the bowl. The fried chicken brings heat into it, and that is where the steps matter. None of it needs real cooking ability, which is the point: the game is happy to make a chef out of someone who burns toast.

How to play

Press start, choose a dish, and follow the prompts the kitchen puts in front of you - a highlighted ingredient to click, a tool to pick up, a pan to move something into. Each recipe runs in a fixed order and will not let you skip ahead, so the game is hard to get wrong; the pleasure is in watching a burger, a bowl of salad or a plate of fried chicken come together piece by piece. Finish one and the next is waiting.

Controls

Mouse on a computer, a tap on a phone. Click whatever the game highlights - an ingredient, a utensil, a pan - and it goes where it needs to go. Nothing on the keyboard is used anywhere in the kitchen.
