Pokemon Memory Match Up is the same card-flipping idea a lot of people learned as children, with the cast doing the heavy lifting. Pikachu, Ash, Misty and Brock are instantly separable at a glance, so the game never wastes your attention on telling cards apart and puts all of it on remembering where they were.
Boards open at four cards and widen from there. The jump that catches people is the one where the grid stops fitting in short-term memory, usually around the point you can no longer recite every card you have seen. That is where the game actually starts, and where working systematically across the board beats clicking wherever your eye lands.
How to play
Click any card to turn it face up, then a second card. A correct pair stays revealed and a wrong one flips back. On the bigger boards, pick a corner and work outward rather than jumping around, because that way every failed pair still tells you the position of a card you will need later. Clear the board to move on to a wider one.
Controls
Mouse click or screen tap to flip a card. Two cards per turn; the match resolves without any further input.
