Hungry_Caterpillar

The caterpillar kept his fruit stored in a tree branch until a spider knocked the whole lot down into the cave below. Now everything he owns is scattered across an underground floor lined with spikes, and he is going after it anyway. Nothing chases you down there - the level sits still, fully laid out, waiting for you to work out the order things have to happen in.

One wrong step ends the run outright, with no health bar to soak up a mistake, so the habit worth building is tracing the whole route with your eyes before you move at all. Four directions is the entire control scheme, which puts the difficulty in the layout rather than in your reflexes.

How to play

Move the caterpillar one direction at a time and collect every piece of fruit scattered through the underground area. The traps are placed to catch the obvious path, so the safe route is usually not the short one - look at where the spikes sit before you commit to a direction. A single wrong move ends the attempt outright, rather than costing you a life and letting you carry on from the same spot.

Controls

Arrow Up and Arrow Down move the caterpillar up and down, and Arrow Left and Arrow Right move it sideways on a keyboard. On Android and other touch devices, those same four directions come from the on-screen buttons.
