Velocity Breaker

Velocity Breaker strips a reflex game down to almost nothing and lets the speed do the rest. You control an energy shard racing forward automatically through a neon tunnel, and the only real decisions are which side to be on and when to trigger the dash. There is no pausing to think - by the time you spot a pattern you are already inside it.

The dash is the one tool with actual weight to it. Use it early to slip through a closing gap and it feels free; use it as a last-second panic move and it usually gets you killed in a new spot instead. Easy, Medium and Hard change the pace, so Easy is worth learning obstacle shapes on first.

How to play

Move left and right to stay clear of obstacles as the tunnel scrolls forward automatically. Trigger a dash to slip through tight gaps or escape a sudden squeeze, but use it early rather than at the last second, since a panicked dash often lands you in the next obstacle instead of past it. Pick Easy first to learn obstacle patterns before moving up to Medium or Hard, where the same patterns arrive much faster.

Controls

A and D or the Left and Right Arrow Keys to move sideways, and Space or a mouse click to dash. On mobile, swipe left or right to move and tap to dash.
