Mech Core: Survivor puts you in a single mech against a swarm that never stops growing. Movement and aiming are separate - WASD steers while the mouse points your guns - and auto-fire means the real skill is positioning, not clicking. Nanites drop from downed enemies and buy upgrades on the spot, so every wave is also a shopping decision made while still moving.
The upgrades stack rather than replace each other, and that is where runs start to diverge. Rapid Lasers thin a crowd at range, Homing Missiles clean up stragglers, and an EMP Shockwave buys room when a swarm closes in from every side. Picking upgrades that cover each other's weaknesses beats grabbing whatever comes first, and boss waves punish a build with no answer for getting surrounded.
How to play
Move with WASD or the Arrow Keys while aiming with the mouse - your mech fires on its own once auto-fire is on, so positioning matters more than clicking. Circle around incoming swarms rather than backing into a corner, and pick up Nanites from downed enemies to spend on upgrades between waves. Save an EMP Shockwave upgrade for the moment a swarm surrounds you rather than using it early.
Controls
WASD or the Arrow Keys to move, the mouse to aim. Left click to shoot, though auto-fire is enabled by default so it is mostly there as a backup.
