Penguin Runner Game

Penguin Runner Game sends a small caped penguin sprinting across the arctic on a track that never ends. He runs on his own; your job is deciding when he leaves the ground and when he drops flat, because the tundra keeps throwing something at him and the gaps between those somethings keep getting shorter.

The ice is thin and the speed only builds, so a run that felt comfortable in its first minute turns into pure reaction before the second is out. There is no level to finish and no ending to reach; you are chasing the distance you managed last time, and the gap between a good attempt and a poor one is usually one jump taken half a beat too early.

How to play

Press space, the up arrow or X to set the penguin running, then keep him alive by reading the ground ahead of him. Jump with the same keys when something blocks the path, and hold the down arrow to duck and slide under anything you cannot clear. A left mouse click jumps too, so one hand on the mouse is enough on desktop. When you finally go down, Enter starts the next run straight away.

Controls

Space, the up arrow and the X key all jump, and so does a click of the left mouse button. The down arrow ducks him into a slide under low obstacles. Any of the jump inputs also starts the game, and Enter restarts it after a game over. On a phone, tap the screen to jump.
