Rock Art

Rock Art takes the paint-by-number formula and wraps it around the trend of hand-painting real rocks, except every rock here is a 3D digital one. Pick a rock from a gallery of shapes - animals, patterns, seasonal scenes, and more - and fill each numbered section with its matching color from the palette. No drawing skill is required, only patience and a willingness to zoom in on smaller sections.

What makes it more than a flat coloring app is the 3D shape of the rock, which curves and catches light differently as you rotate it, so a finished piece looks like a real painted object. Completed rocks build into a personal gallery, giving the whole thing a light collection-building pull alongside the relaxing coloring itself.

How to play

Select a rock from the gallery to start a new piece. Tap a numbered section on the rock, then tap the matching color on the palette to fill it in, and repeat until every section is colored. Rotate the rock as you work to reach sections on its far side, and once a piece is fully colored it is saved to your gallery of finished rock art.

Controls

Touch or mouse click only: tap a section to select it, tap a palette color to fill it, and drag to rotate the rock.
