Ship & Fish

Ship & Fish gives you open water and takes it away one fish at a time. The ship moves in all four directions, which sounds generous until the fish start arriving from behind you as well as in front, and the clear water you were aiming for closes before you get there.

Survive and the score climbs, but so does the pressure, so a good run is a slow squeeze rather than a sudden death. The useful habit is to keep drifting toward space instead of sitting still in a pocket that is about to close, because a ship parked in the middle of the screen has four sides to worry about and no momentum to escape with.

How to play

Move constantly. The arrow keys push the ship up, down, left and right, and holding two at once gets you across a corner faster than turning twice. Look at where the fish are going rather than where they are, and aim for the widest stretch of empty water on screen. One touch ends the run, so a longer path around a crowd beats a narrow gap through it.

Controls

Four arrow keys and nothing else: left and right slide the ship across, up and down move it toward the top or bottom of the screen, and pressing two together sends it diagonally.
