Turn on Bulb

Turn on Bulb sets a plug on one side of the board and a bulb on the other, then scatters the wire between them in pieces facing every direction but the right one. Each tap turns a tile a quarter turn clockwise, and that is the entire mechanic.

The trick is that a tile only ever looks correct in relation to its neighbours, so a piece you were sure about becomes wrong the moment the path reaches it from a different side. Working outward from the plug is steadier than fixing whatever looks untidy, because at least one end of your chain is then always known-good. When the last piece falls into line the bulb lights and the level is done.

How to play

Click any wire tile to spin it a quarter turn clockwise; keep clicking to bring it round again. Trace the route from the plug and set each tile so it connects to the one before it, rather than jumping about the board. The hint button marks the next tile you have placed wrongly, which is worth saving for the boards that stall. Reset clears a level back to its starting state when a board has become more tangled than it started.

Controls

One click per turn: click or tap a tile and it rotates 90 degrees clockwise, four clicks bringing it back where it began. R resets the current level and H calls up a hint that highlights the next wrong tile. The on-screen Hint, Reset and Home buttons do the same jobs if you would rather not use the keyboard.
