1001 Arabian Nights

1001 Arabian Nights sets a straightforward match-3 game against a backdrop pulled from Ali Baba, Aladdin, and the other tales the title borrows from. Every level is a board of tiles waiting to be linked into groups of three or more, and clearing enough of them opens the next stage of the story running alongside the puzzle. The gameplay itself is familiar match-3 territory, which is exactly the point - nothing gets between you and the tiles. What separates a fast level from a stalled one is scanning for the group that also sets up your next move, rather than clearing the first match your eye lands on. Later boards add tighter layouts and stingier tile counts, so a plan beats a quick click almost every time.

How to play

Look over the board for three or more matching tiles that sit next to each other, then link them to clear the group and score points. Clearing enough groups on a level moves the story forward and opens the next board. Favor a match that also lines up your next move over the first one you spot - boards with limited tiles punish clearing at random far more than they punish taking a moment to look.
