Match Jewel

Match Jewel is a straightforward match-3 puzzle that gets more interesting once you stop just swapping the nearest pair. Lining gems up in a row clears them, but lining up four or five creates a striped gem that clears an entire row or column when you match it next - and that is where the actual scoring happens.

Obstacles start creeping into the board as the levels climb, blocking off tiles until you clear a path around them rather than through them. The daily roulette hands out an occasional boost, but it is the striped and special gems you build deliberately that carry you through the harder levels, not luck.

How to play

Swap two adjacent gems to line up three or more of the same color and clear them from the board. Match four gems in a row to create a striped gem, and match that striped gem next to clear an entire row or column at once. Later levels add blocked tiles and obstacles, so plan a swap that clears a path toward them rather than gems that are already free.
