Dead Paradise

Dead Paradise turns a straight race into a running gunfight. Enemy vehicles come at you from every side as you drive, and the level only ends when you have outlasted them, not just outrun them. Steering with one hand and aiming missiles with the other takes real coordination, since slowing down to line up a shot leaves you open to return fire.

Coins earned from finishing a level go straight into the garage, where armor, engine, missile, and fuel upgrades turn a fragile starter car into something that can survive the later stages. New vehicles unlock too, each with its own feel on the road. Nitro is there when a stretch of open highway lets you use it, but save it for moments you actually need the burst, not just to look fast.

How to play

Drive down each route while enemy vehicles try to run you off the road or shoot you down. Hold accelerate to keep moving and tap the brake to line up tighter turns. Launch missiles at pursuing cars and adjust your firing angle to hit targets that aren't directly ahead. Clear enough resistance to reach the finish, then spend your earned coins in the garage on armor, engine, and missile upgrades before the next level.

Controls

Arrow Up accelerates, Arrow Down slows down, X launches missiles, Z adjusts the firing direction, and Space triggers nitro for a speed burst.
