Fit Cats

Fit Cats takes the internet's favorite fact - cats love boxes - and turns it into a merging puzzle. Every launch drops a cat somewhere in a shrinking amount of space, and two cats of the same size touching each other combine into one that is bigger and worth more. The trouble is that a full box does not leave you many good landing spots, so a launch that seemed safe can pin a small cat in a corner where nothing will ever reach it to merge. Mice appear now and then as an escape valve, letting you pull a cat back out of the box when the layout has gone wrong rather than watching the whole run collapse. Working toward unlocking every cat means you cannot just chase the easy merges - eventually the awkward sizes are the ones you need.

How to play

Click anywhere inside the box to launch a cat into that spot. When two cats of the same size touch, they merge automatically into a single larger cat, so aim your launches to bring matching sizes together rather than scattering them. If the box gets crowded, use the mouse to pull a cat back out when you catch a mouse - it is your only way to undo a bad landing. Keep merging to work toward unlocking every cat in the game.
