Head Soccer 2023 2D

Head Soccer 2023 2D shrinks football down to two oversized heads and a ball bouncing between them. There are no passes, no teammates and no offside calls, just a short pitch, two goals, and whoever gets under the ball at the right moment.

The single-player match works as a warm-up, but the game is really built for the seat next to you. Both players share one keyboard, each with their own movement keys and their own pair of hit buttons, and the arguing usually starts about two seconds after kickoff. Long rallies come down to timing your jump so the ball comes off your head towards their net instead of looping back over your own.

How to play

Move along your half of the pitch and keep yourself between the ball and your own goal. Scoring is a matter of getting under the ball and striking it at the moment it drops, so timing the jump matters far more than how quickly you run across the grass. Put it past the other player and you take the lead, and the match keeps running until the clock stops, which leaves room for a comeback either way.

Controls

In single player, the arrow keys move your player and the Z and X keys hit the ball. In two-player mode on the same keyboard, player 1 moves with WASD and hits with N and M, while player 2 moves with the arrow keys.
