The appeal of Tom and Jerry Memory Match Up is partly nostalgia and partly that the cards are drawn from scenes rather than portraits, so what you are remembering is a moment, not just a face. That turns out to make recall easier, because a scene sticks in the head in a way a headshot does not.

Structurally it is a straightforward memory game and it does not pretend otherwise. Four cards to begin with, then wider grids as you clear each one. Matched pairs stay open. What changes between the small and large boards is your method: on four cards you can brute-force it, and on the larger ones you cannot.

How to play

Reveal two cards per turn by clicking them. A matching pair stays face up; anything else turns back over. On the wider boards, stop clicking at random and start clicking deliberately - reveal an unknown card next to one you already remember, so each turn tells you something new even when it does not score. Clear a board to move up to the next size.
