Mahjong Flowers

Mahjong Flowers takes the traditional Chinese tile game and lays it out as a single spread you clear one matching pair at a time. Every tile sits stacked and layered so that only some are free to touch on both sides, and the puzzle is really about spotting which pairs are actually reachable before the layout shifts under you.

Flower tiles and season tiles break the normal matching rule - any flower pairs with any other flower, and any season pairs with any other season, which makes them the fastest way to open up a jammed layout. Working quickly matters too, since clearing the whole board at speed earns a gold star instead of just a finished board.

How to play

Click or tap any tile that is free on both sides, then click or tap its matching partner to remove the pair. Flower tiles match any other flower tile, and season tiles match any other season tile, regardless of the picture on them. Work through the layout from the edges inward, since freeing a blocked tile in the middle usually means clearing whatever sits on either side of it first. Clearing the whole board quickly earns the gold star.

Controls

Click or tap a tile to select it, then click or tap a matching, unblocked tile to clear both. No keyboard is needed.
