Nick Jr: Halloween House Party

Nick Jr: Halloween House Party is less one game than a stack of them, each built around a different set of Nickelodeon characters wearing their Halloween best. Bubble Guppies, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Shimmer and Shine, and the Paw Patrol pups each get their own mini-game inside the collection, so the pace and the goal change every time you switch.

That variety is the whole appeal - a round built around one character rarely plays like the round before it, so settling into a single rhythm does not really work here. Arrow keys carry you through every mini-game, which keeps the controls consistent even as what you are actually doing on screen keeps changing from one character's turn to the next.

How to play

Pick a mini-game from the Halloween House Party lineup, then use the arrow keys to move whichever Nickelodeon character is on screen through that round's obstacles or objectives. Each mini-game swaps in a different character and a different goal, so check what the current round is asking before you start moving. Clearing one round returns you to the lineup to pick the next.

Controls

Arrow keys move whichever character is active in the current mini-game - no mouse needed once a round starts.
