Noob vs Pro But Floor is Lava Minecraft

The lava does not chase you so much as it slowly takes the room away. It rises a step at a time, drowning the lowest blocks, and every time it does the pair of you have less floor to argue over. Now and then it drops back down for a moment, which is the only rest the level gives.

Chests hold potions that make you jump higher or move quicker, and sand blocks fall out from under anyone who stands on them too long. With two players on the same keyboard the fun is partly cooperative and partly not, since the ledge you both want only fits one. Solo runs work fine too, and there are 12 levels plus a couple of odd ones.

How to play

Climb. Every time the lava rises, the blocks you were standing on stop being an option, so keep an eye on where you will go next rather than where you are. Chests are worth a detour for the jump and speed potions inside. Sand blocks give way after a moment of weight on them, so treat them as a step rather than a place to wait, and let the other player have the ledge you cannot reach anyway.

Controls

On a computer Pro moves with A and D and jumps with W, while Noob moves with the left and right arrow keys and jumps with the up arrow. On a phone each character gets an on-screen joystick.
