Basketball League

Basketball League keeps the actual basketball simple - run, jump, shoot - and puts the depth into timing your shot. Holding the shoot button charges a dunk or a three-pointer, and releasing it at the right moment is the difference between a clean score and a blocked shot that hands the ball straight back. Solo matches put you against the CPU, while two-player mode splits the keyboard for local 1v1 or 2v2 games with a friend.

Climbing from the Bronze Cup through Silver and into Gold means the CPU gets faster at closing the gap, so late runs reward players who charge their shot early rather than at the last second.

How to play

Move toward the hoop, then hold the shoot button to charge a dunk or three-pointer and release it at the right moment to score - holding too long lets a defender close in and block the shot. Win matches to climb from the Bronze Cup through Silver and into the Gold Cup, unlocking achievements and supershots along the way.

Controls

1 Player: Arrow Keys to move, X to shoot or dunk, Z for a supershot. 2 Player: Player 1 uses WASD, V and B; Player 2 uses the Arrow Keys, L and K. Move to the shot spot and hold to charge, then release to score.
