Robber Dash

Robber Dash starts after the hard part is over. The money is already in the bag; what is left is the street outside the bank, and a sheriff who has been waiting a long time for this particular thief to get careless. The whole game is that escape, seen from behind as your robber sprints away.

Steering is a single sideways flick, and that simplicity is what makes the pace hurt. Obstacles arrive with barely a beat to read them, and one clipped corner is enough to end a run that was going well. Playing it well means looking further up the road than feels comfortable, so your hands are already moving before your eyes have finished deciding.

How to play

Run the moment the alarm goes off, and keep your robber clear of everything the street puts in front of him. Swipe left or right to shift him out of the path of an obstacle; that sideways move is the only thing standing between you and a fall. The sheriff is behind you the whole way, so every stumble closes the gap. Read the road two or three obstacles ahead instead of reacting to the one in front, and a run that kept ending early starts to stretch.

Controls

One movement, two directions. Swipe left to shift the robber towards his left and right to send him the other way, and that is the whole input - nothing to hold down, no brake, no speed control. On a computer, drag the mouse across the screen the same way.
