Squid Maze Challenge

Squid Maze Challenge borrows its tension from a familiar idea - one wrong move ends the attempt - and builds an actual maze around it. The mazes twist through dead ends and branching corridors, and somewhere in them is a key that has to be found before the exit door will open at all. Some of the floor along the way is solid and some of it is glass that gives way the moment you commit your weight to it, so full-speed running is a gamble the maze itself is designed to punish.

Sound and sightlines matter more than reflexes here. Slowing down at junctions to look ahead saves more runs than fast feet do, and a step taken carefully across a suspect panel beats one taken on instinct.

How to play

Run through the maze searching for the exit key, then carry it to the finish door to complete the level. Look around with the mouse before committing to a path, since some floor panels are solid and others break underfoot without warning. Jump over gaps and broken sections rather than running straight through them, and move at a controlled pace near anything that looks fragile.

Controls

WASD to move and Space to jump, mouse to look around. On mobile, use the on-screen virtual joystick to move and the touch buttons for jump and run.
