Highway Traffic Racerr

Highway Traffic Racerr is a lane game before it is a racing game. The road is busy with cars that are not racing you, they are just driving, and the whole thing rests on how early you spot the gap between two of them.

Speed is the difficulty dial, and you set it yourself with the throttle. Drive slowly and the traffic is easy to read but you go nowhere; open it up and the same gaps arrive far too quickly to think about. The garage holds a spread of cars from endless racers to sports models, and they differ enough that a car which suits a patient weaving style will feel wrong the moment you try to hold the outside lane at full speed.

How to play

Drive along the highway and slip between the traffic without hitting anything. Look two or three cars ahead instead of at the bumper in front of you, because at speed a gap that exists now will be gone by the time you reach it. Change lanes early and decisively; half-committed steering is what puts you into the side of another car. Ease off the throttle before dense traffic rather than braking inside it.
