Wall Of Danger Dash

Wall Of Danger Dash sticks to a simple setup and lets the level design do the work. Lily has been snatched by a monster called Shadow Loomed, and Jake, who is apparently braver than sensible, goes after her alone. There is no map to study or inventory to manage - just a wall of hazards between you and the next checkpoint, and a character who dies the moment he touches the wrong thing.

The traps are the actual game. Spikes, gaps and patrolling enemies sit close enough together that reacting late costs a run, so the levels reward memorization as much as reflexes. Side-scrolling keeps everything on one plane, which sounds simple until three hazards line up back to back and the margin for error shrinks to almost nothing.

How to play

Move Jake left and right along the wall, jumping over spikes and gaps and past patrolling enemies on the way to each checkpoint. Enemies block the path rather than chase you, so timing a jump past one is usually safer than trying to fight through. A single hit ends the run, so treat every new section as unfamiliar until you have seen what it throws at you.

Controls

On PC, use the Left and Right Arrow keys to move and the Up Arrow to jump. On Android, use the on-screen touch buttons to move and jump.
