Wanderer Liam

Wanderer Liam is a side-scrolling platformer built around one unusual control scheme: there is no left or right key, only two mouse buttons, and each one both jumps and flips you in that direction. Liam moves forward on momentum from those flips, so the forest becomes less about walking and more about chaining jumps at the right rhythm to clear the gaps and enemies ahead.

Mistiming a flip either drops you short of the next platform or sends you straight into whatever is waiting on it, and either one ends the run. The forest rewards a steady rhythm over frantic clicking - reading the next gap before you commit to a flip is what actually gets Liam through.

How to play

Guide Liam through the forest by flipping left or right to jump across gaps and past enemies. There is no walking - every bit of forward motion comes from a flip, so plan the next jump before you take it rather than reacting at the last second. Watch the height and distance of each gap; a short flip when you needed a long one drops Liam straight into trouble.
