Word Safari

Word Safari drops a grid of letters in front of you and hides real words inside it, reading left to right, right to left, or diagonally across the board. Nothing marks where a word starts, so the first seconds of any round go to scanning noise until a pattern clicks into place. Six categories keep the hunts from repeating - animals, food, space, ocean, cartoons and jobs each load their own word list.

Finding a word sets off a burst of confetti, which sounds trivial until you are deep into a stubborn grid and that flash of color is the only sign you're on track. A round can run two minutes or two hours without losing its pull, since each grid resets the pressure instead of building toward one finish.

How to play

Scan the grid for a word from the current category's list, then click or tap its first letter and drag to the last one to select it - words can run horizontally, vertically, backwards or diagonally. Cleared words disappear from the list and trigger a confetti burst. Switch categories between rounds to keep the vocabulary fresh, and take your time - the grid only punishes guessing, not slow scanning.
