Black Star Pinball

Black Star Pinball hands you one ball for the whole game. There is no reserve, and the drain at the bottom of the table is simply the end. That single rule changes how you play a flipper: you stop hunting for a spectacular shot and start thinking about where the ball will be two bounces from now.

On top of that sits the star system. Yellow stars appear with a countdown attached, and if you cannot get the ball onto one before the clock empties, it detonates and takes the run with it. Then a black star arrives, and everything inverts: that one you steer away from, because touching it destroys the ball outright. Chasing stars while avoiding one is the whole tension.

How to play

Launch the ball and keep it alive with the flippers, because the one you start with is the one you finish with. Aim for the yellow stars as they appear and hit them before their timers expire. When a black star shows up, treat that part of the table as off limits and use the flippers to send the ball elsewhere. Every star you collect on the same ball adds to your score.

Controls

The arrow keys work the flippers, so left and right fire the paddle on that side of the table. A mouse click does the same job if you would rather play one-handed. Both inputs do nothing but flip; the direction of the ball comes from where and when you catch it.
