Grab.io

Grab.io is a land-grab arena game with one rule that creates all the tension: you are safe inside your own territory and vulnerable the moment you leave it. Claiming ground means drawing a loop out into open space and returning home to fill it in, and the longer the loop the bigger the prize and the longer you are exposed. Bots patrol constantly, and touching any trail including your own ends the run. Small, frequent loops win far more often than one ambitious sweep, because a big loop only counts once you actually make it back.

How to play

Leave your territory, draw a loop through open ground, and return to your own colour to claim everything inside it. Take small, frequent loops rather than one ambitious sweep - a big loop is worth nothing until you get home, and the longer you are outside your territory the more likely a bot cuts your trail. Touching any trail, including your own, ends the run.

Controls

Move the mouse to steer - your head follows the cursor. On touch devices, drag anywhere to set direction.
