Matrix Man: Override is a first-person shooter built around one idea: slow everything down and make the shot count. Trigger Slow-Mo Focus mid-fight and the world around you drags while you still move at full speed, which turns a losing exchange into a clean headshot if you use the window well instead of just holding it down out of habit. NPCs come at you in numbers, and the game rewards picking them apart rather than spraying.
Weapons cycle on the fly, a disruptor throw handles anything that gets too close, and certain areas let you drop into a vehicle instead of running. None of it matters if you cannot land the headshot the moment slows down for.
How to play
Move through glitching levels shooting down NPCs, aiming with the mouse and firing to score kills - headshots are what actually clears a fight fast. Trigger Slow-Mo Focus when you are outnumbered to buy time for precise shots, then throw the disruptor at anything that closes the distance before you can aim. Cycle weapons between fights rather than mid-fight, and hop into a vehicle when one is available to cover ground faster.
Controls
Move with Arrow Keys or WASD, aim with the Mouse. Jump on Space or J, Fire with Left Mouse Button or Z, Throw Disruptor with Right Mouse Button or X. Slow-Mo Focus on Left Shift or C, Cycle Weapons with Mouse Wheel, Q or E. E also enters a vehicle. Esc or P pauses, M mutes audio, V changes view.
