My Ice Cream Maker hands you the shop rather than a recipe. The cone comes first, then the scoops, then the frozen cupcake that goes beside it, and at no point does anyone tell you which flavours belong together. That is the appeal - two players making the same order end up with two different desserts.

The customers are the other half. They arrive, they wait, and the dessert you build goes across the counter to them, which turns a decorating game into a small service loop with levels behind it. It is gentle work, more assembling than racing, and the fun sits in the last few touches you add before you hand anything over.

How to play

Take the order, then build it from the bottom up: pick a cone, load it with scoops, and set a frozen cupcake alongside to finish the plate. Decoration is yours to choose, so try combinations rather than repeating the same one, and hand the dessert to the customer waiting for it. Finishing an order moves you along to the next level of the shop.

Controls

Everything is picked by pointing at it. Click an ingredient to add it to what you are building, click the item you want to work on next, and click again to pass the finished dessert along. A tap replaces the click on a phone or tablet.
