Octopus Blast

Octopus Blast runs on one rule that is easy to learn and surprisingly deep to play with: tap an octopus and it grows, and once it is full it pops and sends ink into whatever octopus is next to it, growing that one too. A single tap can end up clearing half the board if you place it right, which turns the game into a puzzle about sequencing rather than speed.

Every level has to be cleared completely, and doing it fast earns stars too. That is where the real challenge sits - a slow, safe clear in twenty taps rarely earns three stars, so finding the one tap that starts the biggest chain becomes the actual goal across all 400 levels.

How to play

Tap an octopus to grow it. Once it is completely full, it bursts and spreads ink to the octopuses next to it, growing them in turn and often setting off a chain reaction. Clear every octopus on the board to finish the level, and try to do it in as few taps as possible - speed and efficiency earn you stars.
