Riffle Assault

Riffle Assault puts you in charge of a trench war where every soldier and every weapon costs something, and spending badly loses the fight faster than the enemy does. You are the general on your side of the line, deciding when to buy more troops, when to arm them with something heavier, and when to hold what you have and wait.

The real battle is a budget problem wearing a war game's clothes. Send everything forward at once and a strong enemy push wipes out your line before reinforcements arrive; hold back too long and the enemy dug-in position only gets harder to crack. Reading the enemy's buildup and matching it, rather than simply spending everything you earn, is what actually reaches the end of the trench.

How to play

Buy weapons and soldiers using the on-screen buttons, then send your soldiers forward by touching them to advance down the trench. Balance how much you spend on troops against how much you spend on weapon upgrades, since running out of resources at the wrong moment leaves your line exposed. Keep pushing forward until you overcome the enemy position at the end of the trench.

Touch the weapon buttons to buy troops and upgrades, and touch your soldiers to send them forward. No keyboard is used.
