Sand Blocks: Clear the Lines

Sand Blocks: Clear the Lines starts from the shape everyone knows and then breaks it on purpose. A tetromino does not stay a tetromino once it lands - it crumbles into hundreds of grains that spill, pile up, and settle the way real sand would, so a piece that looks like a perfect fit can still slide off a lopsided pile and ruin the row underneath it.

Campaign mode gives you specific objectives and up to three stars a level, which pushes you to plan the pile rather than just survive it, while Endless mode is closer to classic Tetris pressure with the physics left switched on. Bombs clear a stuck pile fast, and the vacuum is worth saving for the moment a level is close to overflowing.

How to play

Guide falling pieces so the sand they crumble into fills a full row or area, which clears it and scores points. Watch how each pile settles before dropping the next piece, since sand spreads sideways and can undo a row you thought was close to finished. Save bombs for piles that have jammed up badly, and use the vacuum to pull loose sand out of a level that is about to overflow.
