Smoothie Sorting

Smoothie Sorting is a sorting puzzle dressed as a juice bar. Fruit arrives on the counter and each blender wants one kind, so the job is to get every piece into the right jug and nowhere else. The first levels are almost restful, because there are two blenders and the answer is obvious the moment you look.

The difficulty arrives quietly, as more fruits and more blenders. Once there are several jugs on screen the sorting stops being one decision repeated and becomes a small planning problem: which pile to clear first so the counter does not fill up behind you. It plays in portrait with one hand, which is why the levels are short - a level is about the length of a queue.

How to play

Look at the blenders first, since they tell you where everything belongs, then start moving fruit. Press on a piece, pull it across to the blender that takes its kind, and let go over the jug to drop it in. Clear the fruit that is stacking up highest before the tidy piles, since a crowded counter makes every later decision slower. Later levels add both fruits and blenders, so the reading takes longer than the dragging.

Controls

One continuous movement does all of it. Put a finger on a piece of fruit, drag it to the blender it belongs in, and lift off over the jug to release it; letting go anywhere else simply leaves the fruit where it was. On a computer the left mouse button replaces the finger - hold it down to pick up, drag across, release to drop.
