Space Patrol

Space Patrol drops you into a hostile stretch of space overrun with alien spiders, and the goal is simple to state and harder to do: clear them out, grab the crystals scattered around each area, and reach the next destination. The world itself is as much of a threat as the spiders are - hidden traps can end a run just as fast as an enemy can, so moving carefully through unfamiliar ground matters as much as shooting straight.

A jet-pack and a separate boost give you options for getting past ledges and gaps that a plain jump cannot clear, which turns some sections into a platforming puzzle as much as a shootout. Crystals are the thing worth detouring for, since they are what opens up the next area once a zone is cleared of its immediate threats.

How to play

Move through each area shooting alien spiders and collecting crystals while watching for traps that can end the run instantly. Use the jump, jet-pack, and boost together to cross gaps and reach ledges a normal jump cannot manage. Clearing a route and gathering enough crystals opens access to the next destination.

Controls

On PC: A to move left, D to move right, W to jump, J for the jet-pack, K for the shoe-jet boost, and the fire key to shoot. On mobile, on-screen touch buttons control movement and actions.
