Wheres Chicky Jigsaw Puzzle takes a scene from the little chick's world and scatters it. These pictures are cluttered on purpose, which for once works in your favour: furniture, props and background all carry different colours and hard outlines, so almost every piece tells you something about where it came from.

The chick himself is the useful bit. He is small and he is bright yellow, and nothing else in the frame is that shade, so the two or three pieces holding him are the easiest finds on the board. Place him early and you have a fixed point in the middle of the picture instead of building blindly in from the border. From there the assembly grows outward, one recognisable object at a time.

How to play

Choose your difficulty, then start sorting rather than placing. Push the yellow pieces into one group, the background pieces into another, and the odd bits of furniture or props into a third. Assemble the chick first, then each object around him as a small island, and only join the islands together once they are whole. Working in clumps like this is far quicker on a busy picture than filling the board left to right.

Controls

You play entirely by dragging pieces. Press and hold on one, carry it to the spot you want, and release; correct placements lock and incorrect ones simply sit where they land, so nothing is ever lost by guessing. A finger does the same job on a tablet as the mouse does on a computer.
